The Extra Long Harpenden Infantometer is an exceptional handcrafted anthropometric instrument for the accurate measurement of babies and toddlers. The Extra Long Infantometer offers an extended measuring range.
The highly accurate counter recording device has a free moving, ball-bearing mounted carriage for easy use. The carriage is operated via a constant pressure lever which automatically locks the carriage at the correct measuring point, thus accurate results can be recorded. The Infantometer's construction ensures consistent measurements across different operators.
The Harpenden range of Holtain anthropometric instruments was developed in close collaboration with the University of London Institute of Child Health. Holtain’s unique counter recording quickly produces extremely accurate measurements, unrealizable with conventional anthropometric instruments.
